Vegan Soba Tokyo Ayler – A One-of-a-Kind Plant-Based Soba Paradise
Tokyo is no stranger to vegan innovation, but Ayler takes things to a whole new level. This is an all-vegan soba restaurant, and honestly, I’ve never seen anything quite like it in Japan. Whether you prefer your soba hot or cold, their tempura set is absolutely divine—crispy, fresh, and completely plant-based. The addition of yuba is a lovely touch, adding depth and tradition to every bite.
Beyond the food, Ayler serves great coffee, tasty vegan sweets, and curates a chill, atmospheric vibe with cool music that makes it a place you’ll want to linger. It feels like a hidden vegan gem tucked away in the heart of Tokyo.
Just a small heads-up: as of May and June 2025, there are some major roadworks going on next door, and the restaurant is right by the road, so it’s a bit noisy at the moment. But that’s only temporary, and it absolutely doesn’t take away from the magic of the place.
