Wakana Sushi — Restaurant in Tokyo

Small place with good fresh fish. We also tried fried eels (unagi and anago) and both were not that great.

It is run by an elderly couple and they were very accommodating to our needs, but potentially because we were the only customers dining in, majority of orders seemed to come as takeouts.

It is possible to fit a bigger stroller by the most distant table from the entrance, though it would block part of the aisle, no customers go there.

This place does not accept credit cards, and could be entirely cash only, though I am less sure about it. They also don't speak any English and the menu is posted as a bunch of wooden sticks with scribblings in Japanese on a wall behind the counter. So you better be somewhat familiar with fish names and such in Japanese if you want to order something. There is a paper version that is also all Japanese single page no pictures and seems to be...

Questo posto è incredibile perché nella sua semplicità è riuscito a farmi sentire a casa, coccolato dai proprietari e con del pesce di qualità eccelsa. 2 persone fantastiche mi hanno accolto col sorriso e una disponibilità che mi porterò sempre nel cuore. Mi hanno offerto qualsiasi cosa, zuppe, tè, contorni. Eravamo solo e hanno cercato di interagire con me mossi da grande curiosità per quanto il loro inglese non fosse ottimo abbiamo comunicato benissimo. 先客が注文してた特上には、鮑も海老もイカもトロも巻物も板に乗ってるのを見て注文したんだけど
