One of the best buffets ever!!! For the price it’s a great deal too and the food is excellent!

The food looks so amazingly Sanrio themed from hello kitty buns to hello kitty inari! They even have hello kitty pudding in the shape of her head!

There was also a huge selection of buffet items from various delicious pastas, a nacho bar with ground beef and hello Kitty cheddar slices, Chinese food dishes (like sweet and sour pork, mapo tofu, the works), Japanese food dishes, beef stew, chowder, curries with naan (yellow, pink, and blue), fried chicken, croquettes, deep fried shrimp, karaage, salads, breads, coffee machine, unlimited fountain drinks, and TONS of FANTASTIC DESSERTS!!!

All the food tasted high quality, made with care, and delicious!!!

Yakata Restaurant inside Sanrio Puroland is probably the best value if you’re trying to save a bit while still enjoying a fun meal. It’s a buffet, so you can eat as much as you want, and the food is actually pretty good for the price. There’s a nice mix of dishes including Japanese favorites and kid-friendly options, so everyone should find something they like.

One of the coolest parts is that character shows and greetings sometimes happen while you’re eating, which adds a fun and lively vibe without having to pay extra for a themed character meal.

We went to the restaurant at about 12:00 P.M. You have to get a ticket with a specific number on it and wait until your number is called. We (party of 4) waited for about 30-40 minutes until our number was called, although I saw a family get a ticket, get in line, and get a seat at a table. We tried that, but the lady said that we had to wait until our number was called. The food was OK but it could be better. The food labels did not have English text on it, so we just had to test some stuff out. To add to this, most of the food was cold, which made it less tasty. The characters were super cute when they appeared on stage, but they only lasted about 5 minutes...
