Yakiniku King — Restaurant in Tokyo

My kids love this place because it's fun for them to drink some soda and see a robot (take someone's job). They are not there to eat the fatty meat. Over the years, the quality of the meat has fallen, as many other places around Tokyo. I mean, it's okay. You get to eat a lot of food, which is not really food. Sometimes you get some better quality meat than other times. It's a hit and miss. The all-you-can-drink is super short, so you are not there to have a relaxing dinner. They want you out the door as fast as they can get you out. The beer is half full of ice, which for Japanese beer, makes it drinkable. For the price, it's not worth it. For the location, it is. Oh, the staff can get really smelly at times. If only they wore deodorant. And they kind of shout in your ear as often as they can. Sometimes I come out of here feeling more stressed than when I went in. But, for my kids, this is a fast food restaurant. So, call it a kiddy BBQ...

5 star because the manager was able to speak english not very much but enough that he was able to take reservation by call, when I opened website for reservation, the only issue is they asked me hiragana name which I dont know how to write. They also do call couple of minutes before reservation time as a reminder. Price meets the value, there is a robot which serves the food which is...

今回は食べ放題のプレミアムコース。 ファーストドリンクが届いたら店員さんの説明と商品がひとつも合わず。コーン茶は黄色いイメージあるかもだけど、黄色いのはジャスミンティーでした。コーン茶は香りでわかるのでどれか判別つきましたけど。3つとも間違えて置いていくとは。 肉は某ユーチューバーが焼き肉キングで食べてるのを見て予習してから行きました。どでかロースは確かに美味しかったですね～。大きさもあり、ちょっと上手に焼くのは大変ですね。2枚目はすき焼きのように溶き卵に絡めて食べたら美味でした。 ごはんは韓国のりTKGもいいんですけど、とろろご飯がハマりました。 とろろご飯→韓国のりTKG→とろろご飯 見事に食べ過ぎましたね。 ラム肉も美味しかったです。薄い肉系はオススメですね。壺漬けドラゴンハラミは、個人的には微妙な感じでした。 メニューはタッチパネルからオーダーですが、なんだかメニューが見づらい。配置やデザインの問題でしょうかね。どんな肉なのかは写真で見やすくわかりやすいんですけど、メニュー全体としてはちょっと。 店の雰囲気は気合が入ってていいな〜、と思う反面、なんだか体育会系の部活の延長みたいなノリも感じられて、心の余裕のあるなしで印象が違うと思います。 配膳は人と機械で交互に来てたような感じですね。すぐにテーブルはお皿で埋まってしまいます。肉も大きいのが多くて、焼く順番を効率よくしないとオーダーストップまでに少し慌てて食べるような感じになってしまいますね。今日はそんな感じになっちゃいました。

また行くかと聞かれると、ちょっとわかりませんね〜。食べ放題がある他の焼き肉チェーン店の方が近くにあるので。。。

リニューアルオープン後に2回行きました。1回目は自動化に感動したもののオーダーミスが多し。2つ頼んだものが1つしか来なくて再オーダー。ご飯ものは割と時間がかかるので最初にオーダーした方がよいかもです。 2回目は新たな感動はなく、タレビンとその周囲の汚れ具合が気になったり、やっぱりオーダーミスに見舞われ、全体的に味が落ちたような？どでかロースとシーザーサラダ以外はなんだかイマイチでした。たまたまなんでしょうか？汚れはまぁ日曜の夜遅めに行ったので忙しい時間帯の後だったとは思いますが。 正直不満の残る結果でした。金額は少し安くなったのか...
