Yakitori Kodama — Restaurant in Tokyo

Best Yakitori I have had in Japan, hands down. Now that Covid is subsiding and Japan is opening up its borders I suggest booking a table for the Omakase set course here once you book your trip to Japan! If you already live in Japan and enjoy food then why haven't you eaten here already?? Kodama San is charming and friendly, the food is thoughtful and delicious, the restaurant atmosphere is perfect and light, great music selection, just pure class all around. The Value is amazing too, Omakase set with a couple drinks and maybe an extra skewer or two will set you back around 10,000yen which is incredible. If you are a fan of yakitori or great food in general then this must be on your list of places to visit (and then repeat visit) Thank you for a great evening Kodama San...

My wife and I visited Kodama on our first visit to Japan. Seeking traditional Japanese yakitori, Kodama hit the spot.

The staff were great and personable, including recommendations on how to enjoy the food best. We got to interact with Chef Kodama as well as he curated the finest yakitori dishes.

To round out the experience, the food was amazing, with each skewer cooked to perfection. The care and precision taken in each skewer and dish led to some truly tasty food.
