Terrible hotel, with aggressive staff. Have booked a non smoking room and got it, came back after three days and then the young female employee claimed that I had now booked a smoking room where the standard was extremely poor, but I have asthma and would never book a smoking room, just like I didn't do three days ago either. The aggressive employee who now pretended she couldn't speak English send me back to the smoking room ... which was also very, very dirty .... and then the Hotel it's , far, far too expensive compared to others in the area . Price and quality are not at all related ... take more pictures tomorrow ... (I even after this complaint on Google, got a written apology about the quality of the cleaning, but no reduction in price or a non-smoking room as ordered) I would NOT recommend this hotel!

(+)It’s really clean and good location. Close to train. I was really happy with cleaning service. They have breakfast available for an extra 1000yen but there is restaurants and corner stores everywhere close to hotel. (-)There was only two plugs in the room and it was in weird spot. It would be nice to have something close to bed. Comparing to other hotel we stayed this hotel was almost double priced and they were same quality but maybe we just got lucky with other hotel because Tokyo hotel’s are expensive but they are all really clean. Have great time in Tokyo! ✨

I stayed here for a week. It's nice that it's close to a lot of places. Train station is 5 min walk. The room was clean, and the staff was accommodating. I had breakfast included. It's always the same meal. I kinda hoped it would be different every day. There is a coin laundry which was very useful for long stay.

I stayed here for a few nights over Christmas and again in the early part in January.|| The hotel is located around 3 minute walk to the tube station. Shibuya is 5 minutes away on the tube or 10 minutes on the local bus.|||| I flew into Haneda Aiport and the hotel was 1 hour away on public transport. It cost around 870 yen from the aiport to Sangen -jaya tube station. ( Haneda Aiport to Shingawa, then change at Shingawa to Shibuya and then take the Tokyu Den-entoshi line from Shibuya to Sangen-jaya,take the North Exit A out of the tube station, be aware there a quite a few stairs at the tube station, if you have large luggage, when you exit the tube barriers in the tube station , just walk straight ahead keep to the right and you will find a lift to take you to street level. When you exit the lift turn, walk straight ahead, walk past Mcdonalds and you will see a large shoe shop on the corner of the street crossing, turn left and this is the road of the hotel, you will walk pass KFC, cross over the road and the hotel is a few minutes walk.)||||The local area is fantastic. ||||There is a large supermarket across the road from the hotel and there are lovely local restaurants/bakery, market, antique shops ,art gallery, clothes shops etc closeby. If you desire western fast food there are KFC and McDonalds a few minutes away.||||The hotel room was small but adequate for me as a solo traveller. The only negative about my stay, was on arrival the sheets to my bed had blood stains, I reported the matter to reception and they apologised and the bed was changed, however I did notice the mattress protector was stained also and asked for this to be changed. After that I had no further issues with bedding. Despite this I would stay here again, as it is good value for money, the area and the local restaurants are fantastic and you can access the rest of the City...

No meu quarto, ficou desligada o tempo inteiro. Eu me hospedaria...

I’ve just finished two nights at The B Sangenjaya hotel. The hotel is along a shopping street about 200 meters from Sangenjaya Station’s north exit. Tons of inexpensive restaurants along this street. I was checked in by a Russian? lady at the front desk. I addressed her in Japanese and she very professionally answered back in Japanese. Our entire conversation was in Japanese and I want to thank her for treating me as a resident and not as a tourist. The Japanese male coworker watching the conversation probably thought it was funny, two non -Japanese communicating fluently in Japanese, but I think we both showed respect to each other’s ability. I checked in very pleased. The room itself is small, but for me it’s just fine. I have a view across the city towards Shinjuku from my room and it’s neither too hot, nor too cold in the room. The bed is hard. Good for your back, but not necessarily comfortable. The bathroom is a typical, small unit bath, but it had the tiniest shower/tub width I’ve seen in years (and I stay in about thirty Japanese hotels each year). I cannot take a shower facing the shower. My shoulders are too wide and hit the curtain and wall. I have to kind of stand sideways. Really frustrating if you are a larger person than the average Japanese. That’s the only reason it’s three stars for me and not four. I like this hotel and the free tarts served in the lobby at night are a nice touch. I will keep it on my Tokyo list as I’m...
