Crab Cuisine "Kani Tairiku" — Restaurant in Tottori

The stars are mainly to the staff and the atmosphere. They are so nice and welcoming.

Maybe we come at the wrong season (summer time) as the quality of crab is disappointing. We also tried scallop, shrimp and oyster as well but they are just so so, maybe just not my cup of tea. Tempura is the only good one.

We stumbled upon Kani Tairiku in the late afternoon when most other places were already closed and it turned out to be a delightful surprise! The restaurant may look unassuming from the outside, but the food is great. They were flavorful and comforting; the scallops in the chawanmushi were incredibly fresh....
