Moona Curry — Restaurant in Tottori

Moona is both a delicious curry shop and a bar near each other in a quiet neighbourhood. It is a short walk from the crab museum and next to the rest house. The owner is a very kind man named Yasuaki who is very good at attending to the needs of customers, and also friendly when those customers want to chat. The other worker at the time was very friendly, welcoming, and accomodating.

They have a varied selection of Indian curry, all of which can be paired with either Japanese or basmati (long grain indian) rice. There are several other dishes, including delicious karaage (fried chicken).

The curry has a selective spice level between 0-10. I am a person who likes very spicy food, and have been told to have the capcaisin tolerance of an elephant. For me, level 7 was perfect. The curry was authentic, and the taste was delicious.

The fried chicken was perfectly cooked on the inside, and the outside had a delicate layer of friedness with a subtle and wonderful flavour on the outer layers.

If you order curry from the bar, the owner will retrieve the curry from the the restaurant kitchen with a special metal box, running. It's cute! He cares a lot.
