I visited the restaurant based on the recommendation of a friend from Toyama. The food... oh yes! Everything was delicious!! First, we had a unique Toyama dish called "kombu-jime," which featured various fish such as suzuki (sea bass), kamasu (barracuda), kanpachi (amberjack), fugu (blowfish), aji (horse mackerel), and baigai (whelk). I highly recommend ordering this. My wife was also thrilled with it. Next, we tried tempura made from a deep-sea fish called "genges." It had a light and delicate flavor similar to kisu (Japanese whiting), and I also recommend this dish. We enjoyed grilled anago (conger eel) with cucumber and wasabi, which we ate as hand rolls with seaweed. It was also delicious. We couldn't resist ordering the shrimp satsuma-age, and it was absolutely exquisite. The restaurant had a wide selection of sake from Toyama, making it a place I would love to visit again and again.
