Shiny Mountain — Restaurant in Toyama

First time I've ever been served a meal with no water..... is this common to not get a glass of water with your meal here? I assume he probably wanted me to buy a beer, was too early for that but aside from that the fish and chips were good, good salt on the chips and the fish was good with a bit more dark meat than my liking but nothing they can do about that, the vibes were nice felt homely with the Irish music reminded me of lord of the rings, I went around 1pm so it was empty as expected for a pub at that time, but a good lunch spot if you want...

I was excited to see an Irish pub in Toyama! I got two local beers instead of the go-to Guinness, and they were fantastic.

My friend tried to order food, but they said they weren't serving lunch. But other people showed up and ordered and were served food. So, I don't know. We don't speak Japanese very well, so I think there was a misunderstanding.
