Sushitama toyama station — Restaurant in Toyama

Went for lunch at this restaurant, the service was right on the money, friendly and helpful. It’s a type of sushi train restaurant and takes special orders. The sushi was excellent with a wide variety to choose from, my friend told me that the sushi in Toyama is very good and that the restaurants are very pedantic as to how the sushi should be served, even if a minute detail is not up to scratch, they will not serve it. JP / EN / KO 回転寿司としては値段が高めな割に、味もサービスも期待外れでした。 シャリは水分が多くてねちゃねちゃしていて、ネタも特別感はなく、コスパが悪いと感じました。

さらに、平日は味噌汁が無料のはずですが、日本人の客には案内があるのに、私たち（外国人）には何の説明もありませんでした。 店長に確認したところ「忘れていました」とのこと。 その場しのぎの言い訳のように感じ、不信感だけが残りました。

また、接客全体にもがっかりしました。 入店時に対応したスタッフも無愛想で、カウンターの女性スタッフ、そして店長まで、全体的に丁寧さや思いやりが感じられませんでした。

有名店ということで訪れましたが、正直リピートはありません。

We visited this restaurant because it’s well known, but it was disappointing. The rice (shari) was too moist and sticky, the fish (neta) lacked impact, and overall it didn’t feel worth the price.

Also, miso soup is supposed to be free on weekdays, but this was only explained to Japanese customers—nothing was said to us. When we asked the manager, they simply said they "forgot," which felt more like an excuse than a real apology.

What disappointed us more was the overall customer service. The staff at the entrance were unfriendly, the cashier woman was cold, and even the manager showed no sincerity. The lack of hospitality was obvious throughout the entire visit.

Unfortunately, we left with a bad feeling and won’t be returning.

여기 가지 말고 다른 데 가세요. 접객/ 응대/서비스 별로고 일본인한테는 평일 무료 된장국 서비스 있다고 한명한명한테 안내 하면서, 외국인들한테는 안내 안 합니다. 일본인들만 먹을 수 있는 거냐고 물어보니까 안내 하는 걸 잊어버렸다네요. 제가 먹으면서 봤는데 일본인들 들어오면 바로 된장국 안내하고, 중국인들 커플 들어왔는데 안내 안 하고 그냥 아무말 안 합니다. 일본어 못 알아들으면 모르겠지만 일본 거주하는 사람으로서 진짜 서비스 별로예요. 유명하대서 갔는데 기분 잡쳤네요. 맛도 사실 기대이하입니다. 웬만한 회전스시집 이하였어요. 사실 스시로나...

While walking around toyama station and we saw some people already queuing up(it was around 5:00pm that day). As the queue is not long, we decided to have an early sushi dinner here.

To my surprise, quality of sushi is just soso(as you can see from the photos). Perhaps it is the convenient location that makes it popular? Really don't know why. But I don't think it worths to wait...
