Girly Shot — Restaurant in Tsukuba

I recently discovered a fantastic izakaya near Tsukuba University.

I stumbled upon it online, and after browsing their website, I was intrigued by the menu, which seemed both good and reasonably priced. So, I decided to give it a try with a friend visiting from Thailand.

The place is a bit small, and if you go as a pair, they’ll seat you right in front of the bartender, which can feel a bit cramped and lacking in privacy. However, if you visit as a group, you’ll be given a table, which offers a more comfortable setting.

Now, about the drinks: there are so many options! One standout feature is the self-serve Asahi Draft Beer, which I absolutely loved. They also offer a variety of other beers, so there’s something for everyone. But the highlight of the experience was definitely the food. I was blown away by how delicious and well-prepared everything was. After trying several dishes, I was so impressed that I almost forgot about the drinks and focused solely on the food.

As for the staff, it seems other reviews have mentioned this too. There’s a bigger guy—possibly the owner or manager—who wasn’t very friendly and even yelled at the staff in front of customers, which was uncomfortable. Despite that, I would definitely visit again for the...

Used to be a great place to gather with friends.

The co owner(or shift manager) really needs attitude fix. We've experienced rude treatment from him 3 in a row... I personally don't expect too much about the service considering a fixed $$ is about 4000 while my friends told me they will never be going back.

Hope the owner's hospitality has never changed, unfortunately we had no chances to be served by him as he wasn't there in every our recent visit.

だいぶ前ですが（4年くらい前）職場の同僚と4人で来店。 ネストビールが飲み放題のコスパにつられてある1人の先輩が飲み過ぎてしまい、グラスに手が当たってビールを3分の1程度こぼしてしまいました。 すかさずお店の方が来て「この値段でやってるんでもうちょっと丁寧に飲んでください」と注意されに来ました。そんなにどんちゃん騒ぎはしていないし、身振り手振りで話していた時についグラスに当たってこぼれたくらいだったので、一気に場がしらけました。後輩の私はすかさず「大丈夫ですよ、気にされないでください。あんまりこぼれてないですよ」とフォローしました。するとカールおじさん？といわれる人が来て「もう帰ってください。出禁にします。料金は払わなくていいから」と激怒。先輩が「料金は払います」と言っても「いいから出て行け！！！」と激昂されました。こっそり1万円（2500円×4人分）をメニューの下に置いて外に出ましたが、カールおじさんは外まで追いかけてきて「二度と来るんじゃねぇぞ！！！」と声を荒げて追い払われました。 4年経った今でも覚えています。録音しておけばよかったと思いましたが、突然のことだったのでできませんでした。...
