The food was incredible. Immaculately prepared by Takashisan. His attention to detail was perfect every time and no matter how busy it got he never compromised on a single dish. The unagi was perfection, the sashimi and wagyu nigiri spectacular, and appetizers refreshing and unique.
We ordered many dishes as well as 2 highballs and 2 bottles of sake which I believe should have commanded a much higher price for the quality of the meal.
While we don’t speak Japanese and know but a few phrases, and the staff also don’t know very much English, we communicated through google translate easily and the effort they put in made us feel welcomed and warm.
This was by far the best meal my fiancé and I had to date in our time in Japan and would recommend anyone to take the trip out to Uji for an incredible dinner here.
