another juicy story with terrible dining experience. entered the store for lunch on 02.19.2025 and was taking pictures of menu for google. greeted the lady in front in chinese and was seated. after taking some photos, the owner lady suddenly took the menu away from my hand, saying the menu isnt available for order and gave me a lunch only menu. im like okay whatever (although i hear delivery takeout ordering items from that specific menu like malatang). then there was another menu i started taking picture of. the lady saw again, rushed towards me and aggressively said:

"you cant be taking pictures"

i was confused and obviously asked (this was a first)

"because i said so."

her reply was rude and terse.

i was baffled and explained i was only taking picture of menu and why that would be an issue.

she ignored me and continued in a condescending tone:

"no you cant be doing that. this is my restaurant. i wont allow you to take anymore pictures inside."

at this point, i could tell she was purposely causeing a scene so i told her im leaving. i am not supporting a business where i cant be taking photo (especially when its for food and the menu??)

an absolutely ridiculous experience, no idea if its discrimination cause i spoke chinese in the beginning or if she feels like im stealing culinary idea from her menu???

either way, avoid this restaurant at all cost. not worth coming.

tldr: dont take picture of menu if you speak Chinese with manager lady!! you will actually get in trouble...

Portions are larger than shown in the pictures. We ordered too much. We overfed 10 Americans (6 adults) for about $100 with leftovers. Everything...

他の方も書いてますが、まさに「見つけた！」という感じの大当たり感。

台湾の裏路地の中華屋さんをそのまま持ってきた感じ。（料理は四川風？） 店員さんも笑顔で実に居心地が良かった。

生中550円、紹興酒10年1合500円とお酒もリーズナブル。

料理は種類もそこそこで、食事利用も居酒屋利用にもたえる。

特筆は石鍋麻婆豆腐。程よいシビ辛具合。しょっぱさも甘さも絶妙！飯も酒も進む。しかも850円？！ ちゃんと取り分け用の器とレンゲを出してくれる。

突然麻婆豆腐が食いたくなったらもうここしかない。

オシムさん時代の日本代表の方のサインが沢山。

また行きマース。

2024/04/05再訪 電話予約した方がいいですね。電話したら満席。折り返し席空き次第連絡して頂きました。

相変わらずお母さんはニコニコ接客で気分がとても良いです。
