An absolute gem of a restaurant! Everything is homemade -from the bread and pasta to the chorizo and ice cream- and you can truly taste the care in every bite. The chefs use seasonal vegetables (we had baby corn that you almost never find outside a brief window in the year!) and craft dishes that cater beautifully to meat lovers, fish fans, and vegetarians alike. As a vegetarian, I shared four different plates and felt like I was on a culinary adventure, with well-balanced combinations and a wonderful variety of textures. Every dish felt like a little journey to Italy, thanks to the chefs’ experience there and the love they clearly put into their cooking. Highly recommend this place -for the food, the heart behind it, and the sense of seasonal, home-cooked authenticity you don’t come by often.
