和歌の浦カフェ マーレライ — Restaurant in Wakayama

Owner of a café called “Marrerai” in the scenic area of Wakaura (Wakanoura). We had a delicious vegetarian lunch and dessert supervised by a vegetable sommelier ❤️ delicious! Reservations are required if you want to get a great window seat!

She invented “Pandora Cards” which is a combination of psychology ✖️ and tarot cards. She teaches it to others! The plans and patterns we subconsciously make about our lives when we are young, influenced by our family and surroundings. Usually we don't realize it. How to realize = enlightenment and wisdom to get closer to your future. The owner read and conveyed the meaning derived from her keen intuition and cards. All that was left was for me to choose. You will become aware of your hidden depths.

Incredible place, view and vibe are off the hook, the little details in everything are so thought out. The story in the menu and the tarot cards are a particular cute touch. The lady who served me was very nice, i got a bona fide vegan banquet for like 20 AUD. It was three courses with a drink (highly recommend the butterfly tea). Doubt ill be in this area again, but god...

店内はとてもお洒落で落ち着いた雰囲気でした。 お料理も大豆ミートやお野菜メインで健康的で良かったです。

しかしひとつだけ、接客が残念でした。 私が頼んだメニューでは、ライスが白米か玄米かを選択できたのですが、一緒に行った者がカレーを頼んだので、こちらもライスが選択制なのかと思い、「ライスは、、」と悩んでいると、「はい？」という態度を取られました。 カレーはライスの種類が選べないのか尋ねると、「カレーライスなんで〜」と軽く馬鹿にしたような返答をされたことが悲しかったです。 カレーライスって知ってますか？と言われている気分でした。

メニューに選択制なのかどうかを記載するとか、もう少し口頭で分かりやすく教えてもらわないとこちらはわかりません。

また、静かで落ち着いた空間なので、スタッフ同士の話し声や笑い声が気になりました。
