This is a wonderful Satsuma (Kagoshima) style ramen restaurant. Typical Wakayama ramen is based on pork bone broth and soy sauce, but Satsuma ramen has no soy sauce. This is not Wakayama Ramen, but if you are staying in Wakayama, it is worth trying. The restaurant is a branch of a famous restaurant called Shitenno Ramen. There are so many varieties of ramen that you will never get bored. My recommendation is the "Pirikara Totennou Ramen". It is served in a spicy soup with thick and tender pork chashu and plenty of stir-fried vegetables.
