This is 100% the most legit coffee on the island - proper barista style that made me feel right at home after coming from Melbourne. Be aware that if you come in with others, each person has to order a drink or you'll be told to sit in the ferry waiting area outside and won't get to enjoy the lovely ambience with the record player. It's a small space so try not to come in large groups.
The location is a bit confusing: if you've come by hydrofoil (TOPPY/ROCKET), you need to go to the regular ferry terminal further down the pier (Yakushima 2 Ferry). It is the only building with a second level. The cafe is on the second floor.
