Sorry chaps, while there are many 5 star reviews for this. I believe the standards of dining experience and food had drastically dropped in recent times.
Ordered a black coffee which honestly tasted like it came from a local convenient store. Its really that bad. Ordered their recommended cheesecake which tasted average compared to many cake/ cafe shops. The service was supbar standard, staff didn't appear from the kitchen until asked for. To provide more context, there were only a few people (4 people) and staff didn't seemed cheerful or happy to be serving.
Also a side note to add: there is a rule that if you were to buy their dessert/ cakes, you must order a drink as well. You kidding me? What kind of rule and instructions is that? The principle of providing service and business is just not acceptable.

Read moreWe didnt enjoy the quaint atmosphere of the cafe. The cafe tries to be different with unique furniture (see photo with table legs extending past shoulder height) which serves no practical or functional purpose.
Food was average, the chocolate pie we ordered was average in taste, smallish in size and not cheap for Japanese prices. There was no English menu. Service was slow even at 11am and cafe was less than half full.
