Went here for lunch with a few friends on a very windy/cloudy afternoon

The nice lady that took our order seated us at a table with a great view of the lake, despite the weather being a bit cloudy it was a pleasant view.

I ordered the eel and sashimi set meal - it seemed to be an order that needed to be confirmed if it was available and I'm very glad it was! The eel was buttery and well seasoned and the assorted vegetables were a great compliment to the meal.

Overall, a great experience and a nice getaway from the weather! With my poor Japanese I said 'gochisosama deshita' and the old man in the back acknowledged it - really felt cozy and you can tell the good work they put into the meal. Highly recommended if you're...

We dined here on a holiday (Labor Thanksgiving day) so the staff was limited and service was a bit slower. Food was very tasty but portions were a bit on the smaller side, but that could also be due to me being a bit hungrier from a whole day of traveling with a fussy toddler. Kept us waiting at the entrance but only had a few people in the restaurant so they weren't busy but still ignored us. Food wasn't that great and because of poor English skills by the owners we had trouble ordering. 'Museum' area down below reeked of mould. Got the feeling we weren't welcome.
