Stay here on Dec 7th.|We have been looking forward to our stay here as this hotel is strategically located with it's back facing the magnificent Fuji-San and a beautiful lake in front. |Our room is on the 3rd floor. Tatami style. Some rooms are really nice directly facing the Fuji-San where you can view its beauty even while laying on the tatami. Some are having the front lane view. ||However, the onsen is really lousy. With the outside temperature at 3 degree C that night, the onsen temperature is only at 36~37C (both in door & out door water)|In stead of getting a warm & relax dip, we were feeling cold & uncomfortable!! |Isn't onsen must be at least 40C ??|Really felt like being cheated!! ||And there isn't any shower towel provided. You have to bring both (small & big towel) from your own room. ||Dinner is buffet style and is very crowded and noisy. |If you are expecting to be served a traditional Japanese style set dinner after the hot & relaxing onsen.... this is not the kind of hotel for you. ||Overall this hotel is too commercialized, you don't feel the real Japanese touch. |Besides it's good backdrop view of Fuji-San, I can't think of any positive things on this hotel. ||Will I recommend this hotel? My...

Read moreWe are glad to have stayed in Fuji Matsuzono Hotel. The room was spacious and comfortable for a family of 3 and there was a small table with 2 chairs that allowed us to sit around to have some late night snacks and drinks. ||The staff was also very friendly and helpful. When I approached them at 1am for an additional pillow, they immediately attended to the request. The bath area for the onsen was clean and spacious. The amenities provided were also good quality. There is also a great selection of food during breakfast. ||Most importantly, room was facing Mt Fuji and we managed to get a nice morning view of Mt Fuji when we woke up. The view was spectaculars and there is a nice courtyard that one can take nice photos with Mt fuji in the background. ||The hotel is also located in a very convenience location. Once you exit the hotel, you will see Lake Yamanakako and there were many eateries nearby, all within walking distance. As we drove, it was also convenience that Lawson and 7-11 is less than 5 min drive away. ||Will definitely...
