River Front cafe&bar — Restaurant in Yamanouchi

With the thunderstorm crashing down, I had to cancel my dinner plans elsewhere, instead headed downstairs to the Cafe.

Being off season, there were only 4 other customers in this big cafe which I imagine would be bustling in peak snow season.

With limited menu of LA burger and taco, I opted for a small size LA Cheese Burger loaded with a massive burger, tomatoes, lettuce, sweet onions, cheese and amazed by how delicious it tasted!

The raw onions were quite sweet and the amazing thing was it did not stink up your fingers!

Simply and easily the best burger I’ve ever had anywhere. Top top quality. Clearly home-made. Salad bits were fresh, and perfect proportions. Service was excellent by a good English speaker. Very polite, very clean. Great value too, especially if you select the combo. Coffee was also superb. Only just made five stars for atmosphere though. We were made so very welcome. Can’t imagine why it was fairly quiet, shame as folk are really missing...

Resturant was attached to a hotel. Great place. Local food place that had great staff and food. Very friendly atmosphere, and some delicious hamburgers!. Burger was grilled perfect, tomato was red and juicy and actually tasted like a tomato should. The bun was fresh and grilled/toasted. Haven't had a burger this good in a ling time!
