Amazing cozy sushi spot with a fantastic vibe! Went with a friend and shared a carafe of hot sake—delicious. I ordered the ‘On the Top’ sushi, which was incredibly fresh and perfectly crafted. The meal came with a salad, Japanese pickle, and miso soup, all rounding out the experience beautifully.

The traditional kneeling tables add to the authentic aesthetic, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. The two owners were so charming and made us feel completely welcome—one even gave us fresh fruit to take home!

This was the best sushi that I have ever had. It was well worth the wait to have melt in your mouth sushi. We had a late dinner, it started to snow and we were going to have to walk 30 minutes back to the hotel. The owner of the restaurant offered to drive us back and gave us a little tour of Shibu Onsen town on the way back!! Only in Japan, needless to say we left very full, happy and grateful for this wonderful experience. Highly highly recommend:)...

Went with my girlfriend and had an incredible time. Mom-and-pop restaurant with a pleasant vibe and impeccable service; and delicious sushi at a great price! We ordered some sake, a nigiri platter, some maki rolls and another seafood platter which were all amazing. The owners are precious and made the whole experience unforgettable, they even gave us some fruit to take to the snow monkeys for our visit tomorrow and gave us a ride home! Highly recommend...
