Lunaの世界 ラーメン — Restaurant in Yokohama

We came across this restaurant while Googling for ramen. I had aimed to try the classic ramen restaurants but I couldn’t resist trying this because of the good reviews. No regrets.

We ordered our food through the machine with the staff guiding us as the buttons only had the Japanese words (there were English menus).

The beers were fresh and cold. The broths were rich and full of flavour. The meat was tender, then noodles were cooked to perfection. I ordered the black truffle ramen, and was provided cheese to sprinkle on. A unique flavour.

The owner was friendly. He greeted us and offered a complimentary bowl of rice each.

The restaurant itself was cozy.

Would recommend for all who love ramen and are interested in trying...

We found Luna randomly on maps and we were curious to try it. We were afraid that they would close by the time we got there, but actually they did not close that day contrary to what it says on maps. I tried the Italian style ramen and it was heavenly. The three types of pork cuts were amazing and complimented perfectly the broth and the noodles. A great ramen place in Noge with a creative and surprisingly delicious Italian twist on ramen. We ordered the special Italian, which comes with porchetta, chicken, egg, and bamboo. It also comes with a side of parmesan cheese which really complemented the broth very well when mixed in. The other bowl was a tomato broth with claims - definitely not your classic Japanese ramen, but super delicious. Both bowls had great combination of flavours.
