My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights. Pay attention to the price and what's actually included with your room (i.e. breakfast). We got a room on the 12th floor and they are very small. We had to lay out our luggage in the hall area or on the bed to access them. We had the capability of making tea in our room, but not coffee. There's a coffee machine in the lobby area but it's not that great. The second morning we were there, there was no creamer stocked.
The air conditioning makes a weird sound all night that can be very annoying for those who are light sleepers or have issues with sounds when trying to sleep.
When we went for breakfast we were told that it wasn't included with our room and we would have to purchase breakfast at an additional charge. I found this odd with how much we paid for our room. That's our fault for not double checking, but then that makes these rooms way too expensive and not worth it. When we asked if we could look at the food before purchasing (I have food allergies and we wanted to see if it would even be worth it), we were told no. So our only option was to find breakfast elsewhere the two mornings we were in Yokohama.
The front desk people, and I'm assuming the manager, were nice and I have no complaints there.
We did laundry during our stay. The washer takes 30 minutes and is 300 yen. The dryer took an hour and half to dry our clothes and it was 100 yen per 30 minutes. We split our laundry load into 2 loads to make it smaller. There's a line on the dryer for appropriate load size. We were well below that with both loads. There were only two washers and two dryers. Luckily we got to wash our clothes and dry them. The other washer and dryer was taken. I feel for others who wanted to do their laundry but couldn't because the dryers are taken the entire day with how long they are to dry clothes.
We were also lucky to have booked our room on the opposite side of the train. We didn't hear much train noise while in our room, but I could see how that would be a lot of noise pollution when trying to sleep.
Overall, not impressed with this hotel and will not be staying here ever again. I don't recommend it for anyone...

I experienced racial discrimination. This occurred during my check-in around 11:30 p.m. on October 29. After a long journey and getting caught in the rain, I finally arrived at the hotel. I had a five-night reservation, and the payment was already made in advance.
After checking in, I went to my room, but I got wet again when I went out to the convenience store. At around 12:50 p.m. on October 30, I asked the front desk, “Could I have some extra disposable slippers?” The woman at the desk responded with a cold attitude and asked, “What do you mean by ‘more’? When did you check in?”
When I replied, “I checked in at 11:30,” she repeated the same question. She asked in English, and I replied “today,” but she continued to ask, “Was there no slipper in your room?” She went on to explain that slippers were not souvenirs and were only replaced when damaged, repeating this explanation multiple times.
I tried to explain, saying, “But I’m staying for five nights…” but her attitude did not improve. In the end, feeling frustrated, I told her, “This is a misunderstanding. That’s not what I meant.” I just wanted two extra pairs of slippers because I had gotten wet. If it wasn’t possible, I was prepared to buy some myself. However, in the end, she reluctantly handed me two slippers with a displeased look.
If she had just explained from the beginning that there was a limit of two pairs of slippers per day, there would have been no issue. I don’t understand that attitude. The official website says, “Relax and enjoy like a local,” but I couldn’t relax at all. I stayed up all night writing this complaint, and now I feel unwell. On the first day of my important trip to Japan, it rained, and I had an unpleasant experience.
I strongly felt racial discrimination. If the issue was that I am Chinese, I wish they had refused my reservation from the start. Is it normal in the hotel industry to treat foreigners whose Japanese is not perfect in such a way? It’s unacceptable to discriminate while accepting payment. I don’t want my precious trip to be ruined. I intend to share this experience on the booking app, social media, and...
Read moreThis is the worst hotel I have stayed over all and it's a shame it is in Japan!!! I am Japanese and would love expect the service to be at least decent.
Well when I arrived to check in, a lady clark I dealt with was far fromhelpful. In fact the worst hospitality I have experienced in my last 30 years of traveling.
My booking was made through visa expedia reward so all my name information was passed through visa system. When I tried checking in, woman clark told me I was not in the system without thoroughly checking in. I wrote my name down for correct spelling and she could not find me. I started to panic thinking I was not booked. Turned out, I was still booked but their system didn't have my name right. That is not fault if their system screws up my name. Well, she finally found me after pretty much telling me I was not in the system so I am not staying there. When I insisted to keep looking, she found me but complained that my name was not properly in the system. Well that's not my issue but theirs!!!! She obviously didn't do her job thoroughly before telling me she wS not able to find me. I felt very stressed and left sour taste in my mouth for rest of my stay. I don't want to be judgemental but if she was properly trained, she would have thoroughly checked before telling me Iwas not in the system.
The worst part was that she didn't own up to her shortcomings!! Only if she spent a little more time searching before making assumption, it would. It have caused any stress. She didn't once offer any apology.
I speak Japanese and English and live in western culture and in any hospitality industry, such situation, some sort of comforting mediation is offer but not this place. Either they don't train their stuff right or it is just how it is here. I am not staying here ever again and I am definitely passing my words around!!!
Location is hard to find and place is updated but very old lay out! It's very tiny too. Go somewhere else unless I wan nothi g but unwelcoming...
