Zetteria Kamiooka — Restaurant in Yokohama

Since I don't eat vertebrates, I evaluate fast food restaurants in Japan on the quality of their shrimp burgers and fries.

Lotteria is pretty low on the ranking in terms of shrimp burgers (mostly just because the shrimp and the sauce are both bland) but they sometimes have interesting specials and their flavored fries rival those of First Kitchen. For some unknowable reason, though, they give you the flavour packet for the fries and make you administer the flavour yourself.

This particular branch has had cleanliness issues in the past, but seems somewhat improved now. However, the sink set aside for hand washing was it off paper towels in my two most recent visits. This branch also does not have Wi-Fi.

On the upside, it's almost never busy, unlike the McDonald's around the corner and has counter seating with power outlets (making the lack of WiFi even more bewildering). And the staff are always super nice. Unlike some other Japanese fast food places, they also have diet cola, AND they have a topping menu so that you can add items to your burger, like cheese, egg, extra lettuce, etc.

Not my first choice, but I don't run screaming...

「ゼッテリア」上大岡店に行って来ました。 「ゼッテリア」は最近「ロッテリア」をリノベーションして新しい業態の「ゼッテリア」に変更した店舗です。 「ゼッテリア」とは絶品とカフェテリアの混合した名称だそうです。 口コミで商品や接客に色々と問題を抱えているようなので実際味わって見ようと訪問しました。 入店して左手にオールラウンドの食券機がありそこで購入します。 店舗の名前が付いている「絶品チーズバーガー」と「ホットコーヒー」をオーダーしました。 提供はとても早く直ぐに「絶品チーズバーガー」と「ホットコーヒー」の呼び出しがありました。 「絶品チーズバーガー」にはレタスと玉葱が挟まれています。 バンズはフワフワでパテはジューシーでまぁ美味しい。 でもチーズバーガーのチーズが見当たらない。 「チーズバーガーを購入したけれどチーズがありません。」とスタッフに尋ねると「チーズソースが中に入っています。」との返答が。 かなり良い値段でチーズはソースって、流石にガッカリしました。 確かにソースは少しブルーチーズが香っていますが、きちんとチーズも入れて欲しいものです。 またソースは照り焼きのように甘く飲み物は必須でした。 コーヒーは普通に美味しかったです。 「ゼッテリア」は痒い所に手が届くには少し足りない、中途半端なファーストフード店でした。 またスタッフの接客は普通に学生のアルバイトレベルで手がたりない事も無いけれど満足しきれない様子でした。 僕の好きな「モスバーガー」や「バーガーキング」に対抗するには、まだまだ問題がありそうです。 最後にここは朝6時半から営業しているいて、そう言う意味では利用価値が大い...
