Hera’s Lounge Yokosuka — Restaurant in Yokosuka

I’ve eaten here a couple of times and I can really say it’s become one of my favorite restaurants.

Staff and vibes : ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ When you first go in the staff greets you with a warm welcome and ask about your day. As a foreigner in japan where I got used to Japanese staff who are always so formal and unapproachable, it’s such a breath of fresh air to go to this restaurant. It’s also such a cozy cafe resto.

Food : ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ When theres a lot of people the food may take awhile, 15-20 mins, but being able to see them cook is kind of entertaining and it makes the waiting go faster. When the food arrived it looked appetizing, and it did not disappoint. The beef was juicy and tender. The chicken was crispy and their homemade spicy sauce matched so well. I really wanted to like this place. The staff seemed really cool which is why I gave it a 3 when otherwise it would have been a 2. Unfortunately, I have to be honest 2200 yen for how small the spicy chicken sandwich was is just crazy (picture attached) even though the flavor was really good. The pasta sauce was all garlic and the sauce split before it even hit my table and 1800 was a bit overpriced as well. The icing on the cake was there was a roach on the wall, but I understand as a ground floor restaurant sometimes this happens, and I didn't hold that...

This place is amazing, from the staff the to food it felt like home from the moment I walked in. Greeted by very attractive and helpful staff all my needs were attended to. Not only do they have a nice selection on the main menu but the desert goes pretty hard as well. The owners a great people as well if you are lucky enough to have them in they will strike up conversation if it’s welcomed just genuinely great folk working hard and putting something positive out in the community. 100%...
