LOCO COCO — Restaurant in Yokosuka

Ever since I watched Anthony Bourdain chow down on sisig in the Philippines, it's become my favorite Filipino dish and anytime I pass by a Filipino resto I MUST try their sisig. But half of the places that I've had, have a ton of that cartilage, and I'm not too keen on that. But out in Yokosuka, there's a spot that has sisig that will make you melt with every bite. Feels like home when I eat here. Good cooking and very much kind owner. Only because there is only 2 staff and the place is always packed most days, waiting for your order might take a bit longer so if you are in a hurry. I don't mind the wait though personally. Legit filipino foods right outside of Main Gate of Naval Base.

Lechon kawali is always so so good!!! It's just missing the pork skin part but understandable since it's not easy to find a pork belly in Japan with skin still intact. Will still recommend...
