The place is rundown with a slight sticky film on everything. The Chinese lady who waits tables and works the counter could not be more dismissive and rude. I tried being nice, but she’s got the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced! I couldn’t believe what happened when I stopped for lunch and have to share:
I came for lunch. I was the only one who came in into the place the entire time—that should have been a sign. The lady literally tossed the menu on the far side of the table and went back to looking at her phone. Thanks lady. I grabbed it and ordered a lunch with gyoza. When the gyoza came out, I searched for the soy sauce and vinegar, but couldn’t find vinegar on any of the tables near me. I asked the lady who, without even acknowledging me, walked over to another table and grabbed a small white-lidded vinegar jar I had missed. She handed it to me without looking at me and walked off. I started to pour some vinegar until I saw a clump come out. A...clump!?! I looked in the vinegar jar and gagged! There was something growing in the vinegar container— it even had a dead fly floating at the bottom! I got the lady’s attention and said the vinegar had something growing in it. She took it from me without saying a word, walked over to the sink, tossed it out, filled the same container with more vinegar, and brought the same container right back to me and walked away. Not a word or shred of care. I was so grossed out and fed up. If they care this little for the sanitation at the table where customers eat, imagine how much worse it must be in their kitchen! I will NEVER come here again and will warn anyone who listens to avoid this place. If you want Chinese, there are plenty of other options nearby who have sanitation standards and know what customer service is....
Read moreThe portions are large and reasonably priced. The menu lacks proper vegetarian options, but they are able to accommodate requests. The lo-mein tasted a little weird to me and was only slightly improved with some soy sauce. The grape chu hi and green apple chu hi tasted very artificial. Neither of them were good in my opinion. I'll give them another chance the next time I have cravings for Chinese food, but I definitely wouldn't get the...
Read moreThis food was excellent! Americans will enjoy this style of Chinese food. Pictured are the diced chicken with broccoli and the house special fried rice. I highly recommend trying this place. Take out is also available. I disagree with the other reviews saying the lady is rude — I believe that to be a cultural difference that is misunderstood. The chef also came out and greeted me once he was done cooking. I will...
