This is a no frills small one man shop. 5 bar seats. The papers posted on the wall is the menu (fish/pork broth, crab/pork broth or oyster/pork broth, I think!). Cash only.

I got the fish, medium size. The noodles are wide (hiramen) and cooked perfectly. The broth is rich with lots of umami flavor. Salty, so the ice water self service was great. The charshiu slices are incredibly tender. I need to learn to add extra for next time.

I will definitely come back to try crab and oyster! If seafood smell/taste bothers you, you probably will not enjoy this place. Foodies- you...

Mmm, crab/seafood/pork broth ramen. Only a few seats at the counter and maybe three general types to choose from (and three types of noodles) but we were able to put our two suitcases in the back and have our wonderful ramens. No ticket machine, make your order after taking your seat, when he asks. I requested aji usume (lighter taste, reading the reviews) and it was just right for me. Husband liked his too. Would love to...

This is a must try place if you're in Yokosuka. It is one of my highly recommended places. The owner has 3 flavors, fish, oyster, and crab. The base is pork but the seafood flavor shines through. You can get it with soy sauce or salt flavor. The noodle can be thin or regular as well. My go to is the crab ramen salt flavor with thin noodles. There is no English menu but the owner will accommodate you even if you don't...

I visited this place on my way from Tokyo to Miura. Originally, Yokosuka wasn’t on our list of places to visit, but while searching for a unique ramen spot, my friends and I came across Uotaki and decided to give it a try. The restaurant was fairly easy to find, especially for those coming from the nearest station. Uotaki is a small ramen shop with only about six counter seats and was run solely by the chef when I visited. Despite its size, the atmosphere felt cozy and welcoming. The menu focuses on three types of ramen: crab-based soup, fish-based soup, and oyster-based ramen. I chose the oyster mazesoba, and it was one of the best noodle dishes I’ve ever had. The flavors were rich and well-balanced, making it a truly memorable experience. If you’re looking for a unique ramen experience I highly recommend visiting Uotaki!!
