Overlooking the mountain depths and tress by the window seats. Having a bowl of udon with so many delicious side snacks which tastes so much more natural than the ones we get from Osaka city. You also get their mackerel traditional sushi wrapped with pessimon leaf. It was my best meal in Japan. Onwards to reach mount Yoshino after this refreshing meal.

Unassuming sobs place filled with locals. Food and service was good! Located near the ropeway, you wont have to jostle with the other hordes of tourists. Also great view from the restaurant! Try the Sakura noodles!

金峯山寺に向かう参道にある食事処です。 黒門の手前左側にあります。 店内の窓際からは吉野の山々を眺める事が出来ます。 お店の人は明るくてとても感じが良いです。 吉野の名物の葛を使った〝葛うどんセット〟と〝鍋焼きうどんセット〟を頼みました。 葛うどんは旨味いっぱいの出汁に葛でとろみをつけてあります。トロッとしたお汁でうどんがツルッと食べられてとても美味しかったです。 セットに付いてくるのはこちらも吉野の名物の柿の葉寿司です。 鯖寿司を一つずつ柿の葉で巻いてありとても美味しかったです。
