We came here at 1:35pm on a weekday last week, although we didn't have a booking but as the place was half empty and closing in one hour, we went ahead and asked for a table. Little did we know we were in for a treat with the theatrics of the waitress/manager. Not only she gave us the biggest eye rolls as we approached the restaurant, she ignored us for a good one minute chatting away to her colleague, before pulling the most insincere smile saying they could not offer a table for us. Of course we understood this completely, hence have told our friends and family not to come as they...

We booked a table a week in advance, turned up on time for our table of six, we had family over and it was the mums birthday. We were told they had given our table away BUT we had arrived a few minutes before our time we booked, so I could not understand that. Sorry they said but could you go away for about half an hour and we might have a table free by then and will call you!! Shocking experience upsetting too for our holiday guests, hence we will never go back as our experience clearly was...

This place is a real gem if you’re in St. Aubin (or anywhere in Jersey!). The atmosphere is wonderful, with friendly and attentive service. Delicious food for reasonable prices.

I personally recommend the crab & lobster bisque. If you get the whole crab for your main course, be prepared to stay for a while, as it is absolutely massive (and reasonably priced given its size). They give you a bib to protect your front while you eat it, and seeing the staff put it on our friend who chose it...

Wanted a quick lunch before my ferry so I ran in here. A couple of parking spaces onsite so I didn't have to worry about parking cards etc as I had an hour. Service was quick as it was a Friday lunch but more importantly very friendly and accommodating. Food was lovely..prices were not too bad. Springs rolls( tiny ones and Asian slaw) I think were pricey for £7.50 if I'm honest but gambas(£8 for 4) were tasty. Overall good experience.
