I went to this restaurant with my brother and a friend, who wanted to surprise me with a birthday cake. We ordered dinner for the three of us, and afterwards my friend ordered a Turkish coffee.
The wrong order was brought at first, but then it was replaced ( the coffee ) . After taking a sip, my friend said the coffee tasted strange, like it had some kind of unusual seasoning. He took a few more sips before realizing, to this shock, that there was a big fly in the coffee that actually ended up in his mouth.
We immediately called the manager, expecting at least an apology and for the situation to be handled properly. Instead, the manager—Tareq—was extremely rude and unprofessional. He kept saying that this was “very possible,” that it “had happened before,” and that it was “normal” to find a fly in coffee or in food. He repeated the same thing over and over instead of apologizing or trying to make it right. They only tried to make it right after they saw us recording the incident.
When I asked him about the food we ordered , his response was: “I can’t make sure it won’t have anything in it.” I was shocked and speechless. Tareq is without doubt one of the rudest and worst managers I have ever encountered. I have been to restaurants all over the world, and this was by far the most unprofessional experience all around the world.!
This was my first time in Jordan, and I know many restaurants here that serve great food with high standards of cleanliness. Unfortunately, this restaurant was the complete opposite—terrible food safety, poor quality control, and disastrous management.
I have a full video of the entire incident ( and the manager -Tareq - mentioned it by him self that this is normal to have flies and stuff like that in the food and it did happen before) , along with photos of the fly, and I believe this restaurant urgently needs new management and stricter attention to food safety.

Read moreMy experience at Jubran restaurant at Al Abdali Amman unfortunately was not as good as the reviews are saying they are. I came in at 11:30 it is still not closing time for the buffet breakfast. And to my surprise the food for the buffet was close to empty, and service for my breakfast was disregarded. Another customer as well in the same predicament as me, had invited people for breakfast, and she was rudely spoken to. She just kindly attempted to ask if they could bring out more food for the remaining customers. But we were disrespected and interrupted several times by one of the waiters. I understand if it is close to closing time, but they are still opened and with no warning of empty trays I had to pay for an extremely disgusting experience. There is no excuse for not providing people a good time. The food served to me was not fresh and it was not nice. There was nothing done about this issue, I called for the manager Tariq, and although he apologised nothing was compensated for me as a customer, taking time out of my day to try, this very popular breakfast joint. I would not recommend anyone to go it was not clean, and the overall experience was trashy. These reviews are funny because my experience was quite...

Service; Host man was kind of snobbish. I had guests coming after me and i gave him detailed instructions and as if I did not. Waiter was slow, and distracted the whole time, he left twice in the middle of the order taking and didn’t come back. He wanted to be funny which i appreciate but I think he was rude with his jokes. Water was room temperature Never took a drink order Bread cane after we were dobe eating the appetizers And for the price they needed to provide full service for food like helping in serving it in the plates, at least they needed to pour the water in the cup..
