Ocean — Restaurant in Amman

I have never left a one-star review in my life but this horrible experience is an exception.

Usually, I go to al Madina al Munwarah branch where the food and service are good, this time I decided to visit al Abdali branch as a change. First, when we arrived the restaurant was empty, it made me somehow suspicious but it was okay since we will have a quiet dinner alone. Second, The weather was cold inside and no heating was turned on. For the food, I ordered soup, salad and a main dish.

The soup was tasteless. obviously, it wasn't fresh and was preheated many times. The salad is the main reason why I write this review, It was disgusting I found a rubber band in it (photo attached). Finally, for the main dish. I ordered a salmon fish, the fish was okay but the side vegetables were only three strips of zucchini as if they run out of vegetables.

Very disappointing, especially for a restaurant that charge premium prices. I will never eat at this restaurant again and I shall be advising my friends to...

Today I was at Abdali branch, I ordered 2 kg of Kana'ad fish and 2 kg of shrimps. I asked them to clean, I took my order home, we found out that they didn't clean the shrimps. I called the branch and Mr Amer answered my call, I told him about my complain, his answer to me was that I should have told the guy who was in charge of my order to clean the shrimps both sides, I explained to him that I did. He said that if I want the shrimps to be cleaned both sides, I should go back to the branch. Just imagine guys, he wants me to go back to Abdali on the traffic of a Thursday night??? He didn't even bother to apologize. Anyway, my advice to you guys, if you ever have to buy anything from that branch, be extra careful, check everything before leaving there. Well, the food is above being good, the variety is way beyond being okay since there's no close by sea in Amman. The place is super clean as well as the toilets. Prices are kinda high but still within the range. Staff are friendly and welcoming. The only 2 notes to be pinpoint are: it is extremely hard to find a parking lot around, and if you parked close by the boulevard you most probably will get a ticket!
