Coffee Boom — Restaurant in Astana

I honestly don't know how this place has the rating it does. As I am living in the apartments directly adjacent to it, I am not writing this review after one visit. I have been there on four separate occasions and each time I was heavily disappointed. From being told blatant lies that they cannot change a coffee that was too sweet because their "coffee comes with syrup already in it!". How the girl even said it without laughing is beyond me. Just a totally ridiculous and outright lie. They have a complete disregard to customer service and when it's clear you haven't had more than a single bite of your food when they ask if you would like the bill; they couldn't care less that the food was like dog food.

Simply put, if you want a coffee or maybe a quick dessert or soup, this place might be okay for you; but from my experience the rest of the food has been terrible. I wouldn't feed it...

Really bad experience. Overly expensive, worst service ever and food quality not too bad, but performance was horrible. We ordered 3 breakfast dishes, one jug of strawberry lemonade and one coffee. Restaurant was not that busy and still a lot of free tables. Waiting for more than 30 min then 2 dishes were served, sunny side up eggs were cold, avocado on toast was hard. I asked for the missing drinks, waiter was surprised , but brought lemonade after 10 min. So coffee was still missing…after 10 min I asked again, he brought it after some waiting time. 2 plates finished before the coffee came! Then the waiter asked what was the 3rd dish… When it finally came the mood was below zero. The straw that broke the camel’s back: additional to the already high prices, there was a 10% service charge added to the bill. No thanks, not...

Ice latte is superb. Place is nice. Tea was good. Steak salad with turkey was also good. No black bread burger available which was a bit of a disappointment as that was our choice from the menu. But the ordinary one was good too. Can reccomend. Cheese sticks... well prepared and crunchy, but cheese quality itself low as of tasteless plastic. Duck fillet salad - fact that meat was not fresh could be tasted despite overcooking. No reaction to the comments on that from the service side... Did not taste cakes, but they seem to...
