Ashaki Grill in Kilimani, Nairobi, is a remarkable dining destination that offers much more than just a meal. Here's my review:
The atmosphere at Ashaki Grill is lively and welcoming, complemented by attentive service that makes you feel at home.
The local meals are truly outstanding. I indulged in chicken, Nyama Choma (beef), and Mbuzi (goat meat), paired with ugali, fries, and drinks. Each dish was cooked to perfection, and the flavors were authentic and rich.
The pricing is fair, offering great value for the quality and quantity of the food, adding to the overall positive experience.
Sports enthusiasts will appreciate the sports bar equipped with large screens to watch games and a pool table for additional entertainment.
What sets Ashaki Grill apart is the availability of a barbershop spa and car wash on the premises. It's a unique combination that makes it a one-stop destination for relaxation and enjoyment.
The overall vibes of the place are energetic and fun, making it a perfect spot for a good time in Nairobi with friends or family.
Ashaki Grill is highly recommended for anyone seeking great local cuisine, entertainment, and more, all under one roof. It's not just a place to eat; it's a destination for a delightful and multifaceted experience in Nairobi. Whether you're a local resident or a visitor, don't miss the chance to enjoy what Ashaki Grill...
Read moreToday Sunday 4th February 2024. I have been harassed by lady who told me she can kick me out of the place because she is the proprietor of Ashaki kilimani. She came with a lady friend and found me seated at a place and demanded to sit at the same spot. I declined to move and she got raged .. shouting at me telling me she can throw me out. I dared her to go ahead citing that the restaurant isn't doing me a favour because it's a symbiotic relationship where both the restaurant and I are gaining from each other. Later on, a waiter came and told me she was not the proprietor but the Daughter of Wahome who is the proprietor. How sad and absurd...lady in question doesn't look young. She's looks like she is in her 40s or so. I will post this on socials just as a lesson and so that anyone who wants to patronize Ashaki is aware that the Daughter of Wahome Francis is harassing...
Read moreWe came last Sunday it was amazing, the service quite fast (thanks to Philo) and amazing food, even tho the staffs were standing, crouding behind us no privacy using our phones... But today I got shocked when we came back today seating in front of the bar and one of the waitresses passed by our table looked at us but didn't ask if we would like to order anything considering that we just came, so after 15min I decided to go to the bar and asked someone who was there in a white shirt "Oscar" if I can get a soda, he just looked at me and didn't bother giving(the fridge was right on his side)... So the amazing part is when we decided to ask another waiter who didn't serve us from the beginning to top up and his answer was "its not my area"... Thanks again to Philo who came to assist even if it wasn't "her area"... Apart from that the...
