I have had the worst experience with this restaurant. I called them and ordered food for delivery at 9:15pm. Then after an hour I called to check on the status and was told the food was sent out for delivery and the rider would contact me. I waited for 30 mins but no one contacted me. I even called the restaurant multiple times but no one picked up. Finally after almost 2 hours of waiting, I had to physically go to the restaurant to check why I am not receiving the food and why no one picks up my calls even though I paid for the food. I physically went to the restaurant and explained the situation and what I encountered was just rudeness. First they said the order was sent out, then they said the rider forgot to take it, and then when I asked I’m already here and I’ll take the food, they said the food has not been prepared. I had a young kid who was waiting for dinner. The part that’s most frustrating is they did not care, were rude and inconsiderate. I finally asked them to refund me the money. When I finally told the lady behind the counter that this is not how customers should be treated, she just responded with “I know” in a rude and dismissive way. They didn’t even have the decency to say we apologize for the mixup and me having to go in person (for delivery I ordered) because they wouldn’t pick up my calls (the phone was right in front of her and she was picking up calls so they purposely ignored my calls), but simply said “I know”. Not even a hint of apologizing for their error and misleading me multiple times about the order. During the 10 mins I was there, they were not properly addressing or responding to me as well. They were very rude, inconsiderate and did not care in the slightest. I paid for the food when I first made the order directly with the restaurant. This has to be the worst experience I’ve had. Since it’s late, now I’m struggling to find food for the young kid I was getting food for.

Needless to say, I’m never eating or ordering from that restaurant EVER. I’ve also had a couple of friends who’ve had very unpleasant experiences at...

Big thumbs up for the food! I had the Shawarma Sandwich (chicken) which was very flavorful despite not having any veggies like lettuce or onions. It was served with a reasonable portion of chips and a delectable creamy garlic dip as well as a pickled green chilli and cucumber slice. To drink, I had the cinnamon tea which was well prepared and had a generous amount of cinnamon. From my observation, I could say that the food portions are quite generous and encourage sharing between 2 or more diners. On the flip side, as you enter the restaurant you're hit with the smoke from various barbecuing meats and this can act as a deterrent to sitting outside especially if the weather allows it. Also, the presence of flies and bees makes enjoying one's meal a challenge. In terms of service, the waiters and waitresses are friendly and helpful. However, I only wish that they would ensure that cutlery is placed on the table before one's order arrives or it is brought together with the meal. Similarly, prompt clearance of used plates, mugs etc and sanitization of surfaces would greatly help in minimizing the presence of flies. Overall, it is a great place to get a taste of...

Not Quite Arabian, is it?!

Food portions were huge but this proved abit useless cos it was not very tasty.

Hummus not so creamy, meats were very tough and not tasty, naan didn't taste authentic, the starter soup was bland. We were unable to finish. The highlights was the Arabian bread which was very tasty.

Service was fast upon arrival but confusing all through, one is not sure who to ask for any further orders during the meal. Food took abit long to be served. We waited for the bill for long, asked one waiter and it seems she forgot, so we had to stand up to look for our original waiter to get the bill.

The biggest atrocity is selling 50 bob soda in plastic bottles for 250. Hilarious.

Ambience - Very very wanting. Nothing Arabic about it. Parking is very limited. Hygiene standards need alot of work. After looking forward to visiting the place for some weeks, it was quite a disappointment.

Some of the staff were very...

Arabian Palace was definitely a foodie experience — perfect for a small group or even just two people. We ordered the full platter, and it was incredible. It came with a generous mix of meats: tender lamb, juicy chicken, and flavorful kebabs, each seasoned with unique spices that really stood out. But the real surprise was the rice weeeh. This wasn’t your average supermarket rice. It was soft, aromatic, and packed with flavor — unlike anything I’ve ever tasted before. You can tell it’s prepared with care and tradition. Honestly, I could eat that platter every single day. And the portions? Very generous. If you can't finish it all, it’s definitely worth packing to go. I’m even tempted to go back solo next time — just so I can enjoy the kebabs without sharing! But if you are not into spicy sauces, don't touch the green sauce without being prepared. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a delicious, satisfying meal.
