When my local friend told me that Mangaboy was the best biriani in Mombasa, I really thought it was a dude who had the appreciation for Naruto, when actually apparently it just means dude who likes to eat. Whatever the name, this is going to be the most authentic, the best experience you're probably going to come across in Mombasa. You can see drums and drums of biriani just shoved into your metal dish along with all the sides. Each of the component of that dish is rich in flavour. Most of the patrons who were there ate theirs with Pepsi on their hand, maybe this is the best way I don't know. The service is friendly, they even provided you with cutleries even though you're meant to eat with your hands. They told me to come back for dinner because they've got a whole lot going on too, which I definitely will the next time. Also I couldn't believe that whole massive dish set me back a staggering KES280. Criminal.

Such a nice spot for a good biryani with beef The rice is good and everything is served quickly and great value for money with the portion size. However Be aware of the cats which are always walking around your feet when eating They also don’t accept cash

I heard the biryani is very good so I ordered the jumbo costed me 600 kshs plus 100 kshs delivery charges. Biryani came with chutney , salad and the meat was mixed with bones and rice tasted full of cardamom. Quantity wise was a good portion taste wise 🤫

A partial diamond in the rough.

The food here is delicious and savoury. The service and food availability is spot on. The atmosphere here is god awful. If you do decide to dine-in here, be prepared for swarms of flies attempting to nag you incessantly, noise pollution at its best with the motor vehicles on the street & your fellow diners. A takeaway is definitely recommended.

The dishes are fairly cheap and you're definitely going to fill your belly with even the smallest portions. The establishment itself is fairly easy to locate but the area it is situated in is,...

If you ever find yourself in Mombasa and you haven't considered trying the local snacks and dishes from here.. Please don't waste any more time and pass by here, I had some shawarma mixed with fries and 2 mshikakis. Best Ksh.500 decision I ever made. Worth the...
