This café embodies your typical experience as a customer in Kenya. The service is awful. Every patron knows it and admits it but there are not that many choices. The staff has consistently pretended like they did me a favor by firing up a grill and cooking one of the items that I picked off of their menu. Many of the staff were rude ( though a couple were very nice )
And just like the rest of Kenya, the prices are x2 to x4 more than in any of other countries with a higher standard of living.
Nobody helps you to sit at the table, nobody comes up to you until you wave someone down.
On the cold days they have no outdoor heaters. Most Kenya doesn't. Not in cars, not in condos, not at restaurants. You just sit there and freeze. They don't care.
However, the live bands are very good and so is the food if you talk your waiter into talking the cook to actually cook it.

Read moreThe place is a quirky haven. Wine bottles, books & guitars lined everywhere, a dream catcher here ,dried roses there. Little quips dotted along the walls. It's such a cute, cozy space in Nairobi, one of those rare finds. And let me tell you, the music selection, was just it,not your generic kawa playlist. Some good Alt/indie music finds. The ambience basically, is just it- aesthetically pleasing really. The food was F I L L I N G. My date and I picked the starving option, and heh! A good nap is all I needed after. The meats and fries were good, 9/10 , the salad was plain, like 4/10 for effort. Customer service is key and we were served by a lovely lady and the waiters are on toes, ready to serve you. The place also always has different gigs on different days,so I'm definitely going back. 10/10 would recommend. You can search up their menus, updated to the time you go there. It's literally behind junction mall, just within the geco car...
