Perhabs read before you decide to move in:
I guess at least half of the reviews here are from the landlords or staff; the place is not as glamorous as the reviews betray. Let me start with the positive, the place has a beautiful and well maintained pool, sauna, and steam rooms, although we personally have not used them. The apartment is in a good location (5 minutes from Yaya, next to a supermarket and a small mall, and not far from the city centre). It has plenty of parking space and two security at all times.
So far we have lived in this place for a month, initially looking for a long-term stay. Below are our concerns and why we decided to move out:
Hygiene standards are really bad; the apartments are not well maintained. For instance, despite their claims of cleaning, we found yellow and red stains on the mattresses, the duvet, and the couch. The cookware is extremely old and rusty; management stated that they will not change it and wait for an order placed overseas, no ETA. The cups and silverware were extremely dirty; despite being asked twice to replace or clean them, they did not take any action. Very thin walls; you can hear your neighbors like they are inside your apartment; we personally had a loud neighbor above that had kids jumping even after midnight. Often, you can smell the smoke of illegal substances; I guess some tenants smoke it on their balconies. On the south side of the building, the windows have a huge and dangerous crack; management stated that they were like that for years. Cleaning standards are very poor, to say the least. They provide you with TWO bin bags for the whole week, and except for you to be happy with it, management is argumentative when asked for more bin bags. Again thet expect you to be happy with one bin bag for every 3 days, after multiple days of messages and informing them that we will move out, they agreed to provide 4 bin bags per week for the whole apartment that has 3 bathrooms and a kitchen. Wifi, although promised a speed of 20 Mbps, the majority of the time the maximum speed we were getting was 10 Mbps, but many times it was below 4 Mbps and extremely unreliable. Back to cleaning standards, it felt like we had to beg for deep cleaning when moving in; multiple times they stated the apartment was cleaned, but there was grease, dust, and dirt in areas that you don't see it at first glance, like above the kitchen cabinets, behind the bed etc. . Even things like replacing dirty and old drink glasses, management is argumentative about it and refused to change it. Regarding Painting, again management was argumentative and took short cuts, ignoring full paint, although walls were dirty. The showers are extremely dirty and not maintained at all, yellow stains on the floor. Maintenance work is ignored or lied about.
To summarize, in our honest opinion, the management was cutting corners for years and neglecting the standards. Saving cost is a priority instead of satisfaction and comfort of the tenants, and yet you're required to pay a high price for service as the place advertised to be fully serviced.
