⛱️ Atmosphere ⛱️
I loved the setting from the entrance all the way to the sitting area. They have a swing where you can take photos and the sitting area is made of pallets with Afro themed pillows. There's a TV and customers are allowed to select what they wish to play as they wait for their meals.
Major bonus points - They have white lovely dogs at the entrance that welcome you and are so friendly. There's also a kitten that was roaming around 😍. I love animals and if you're an animal lover then you'll enjoy their presence.
🥘 Portions 🥘
The food and the portions were okay, nothing extraordinary. I like the thought behind the animal plate designs but it also creates a mess when one is trying to eat and limits the food portion. The pilau servings were not filling and neither was the sharwarma. The mshikaki had a funky residual taste which we didn't appreciate. We enjoyed the chicken biryani the most and the side sauces also delivered 😋.
👨🏽🍳 Service 👩🏾🍳
The service was great and the waiters are super patient. They advice on what's best to order and give tips on filling meals. They're attentive to customer's needs and are quick to respond when you call them. One major bonus point is, a waiter offered to take photos of us as a family when she saw us trying to get everyone in the frame. After we left, they called to inform us that we'd forgotten our item of clothing at the restaurant. We appreciated this 😊.

Mondo Grill is a nice place to chill and catch up with friends. It can get quite chilly when the weather is not warm so be sure to carry a jacket. Please note, we visited Mondo Grill on Good Friday and they didn't have pizzas. They cited lack of ingredients at the time so we had to settle for what was available. We might be back to try the other meals and biting. It was an overall good experience and I would...
