The Bar Next Door, locally abbreviated as BND, is a neighbourhood bar & grill that's literally in the neighbourhood. It's near Diamond Oak Apartments, Muthangari Apartments and other neat apartments. It gets packed and finding a seat is near impossible during weekends. There's little space to walk & dance on. The place gets really, really packed and the service team tries their best to attend to the clients.
One can get faster service at the counter. Prices are very high so, plan accordingly. The night I went there, the famous guest DJ was not playing music that suited us. It was just, very mid. The common tracks you'd expect to hear.
The restrooms are limited and small. They are always being cleaned so, watch the slippery floor. As usual, people pass out inside them & this can cause some traffic.
One amazing thing they have that is a gem is a lounge room. You can sit here if you need to have a breather.

I stumbled across this place by chance (thereโs not much signage, so keep your eyes open!), but what an incredible find. From the moment I walked in, I was impressed by the vibeโa great mix of 90s classics and modern hits playing in the background set the perfect tone for the night.
The space is huge, stylish, and filled with TVs showing different sportsโso whether youโre into football, basketball, or tennis, you wonโt miss a thing. The door staff were polite and professional, and the waiters were genuinely attentive, making sure we were comfortable and well taken care of throughout the evening.
Now letโs talk foodโabsolutely delicious. Generous portions, great flavors, and definitely above what I expected for a bar setting.
As a tourist, Iโd absolutely recommend this spot. Whether youโre looking to chill with good music, catch a game, or just enjoy a great meal, this place ticks every box. A must-visit if youโre...

Ample seating if you like crowded tables . It a normal hang out joint like most of Nairobi Night Clubs. Open space on the outside. Bouncers and security are alert. Watchmen at the gate and parking get frustrated, and I don't blame them, the crowds are not drinking water and insist in double parking. Fairly priced . Gets too crowded and drinks are hard to get as volume of people ganged around the bars makes access to service difficult. The waiters do try their best and go the extra mile to get you served . More waiters could be...
