I really wanted to like this place but it was very disappointing, was looking forward to visit for a few months after I saw their IG😢 Went with a friend here’s what we ordered:
Korean salad: portion was incredibly small, came in a shallow bowl that looked deeper than it was, we could only taste lettuce and raw onion, the vinaigrette was very lack luster. Im not sure what was Korean about it.
soy kfc: best dish we had so far, delicious and prepared very well. and i understand its listed as an appetizer but it was still too small for the price, it was 9 nugget sized pieces. with all respect there are too many other Korean restaurants with Korean fried chicken on the menu that taste equally as good, or better, that serve a generous portion.
yuzu kfc: good, but it was drowning in sauce.
halloumi teokbokki: decent, very crispy but not that flavourful and not worth the price for what it is.
k-town fries: very disappointing, the waiter confused us cause he described it as if it was loaded fries and it turned out to be plain and under-seasoned. it tasted like any freezer bag of fries you would buy from the co-op.
spicy beef rice cake: we wanted to like this very badly but it was such a disappointment, it sounded delicious when we read the description. but It was very soggy and soupy, the rice cake was mush from all the moisture, the flavour was lacking. it almost tasted like an Italian dish it was just smothered in cheese and slightly oniony.
Overall, there was nothing particularly Korean about the taste or preparation of the food, I’m just going to assume it was a poorly executed fusion restaurant. It just seemed like they threw rice cakes and sesame oil in a dish and called it a day.
In the beginning we were only going to order the main, 2 appetizers and the salad, but we had to add more to our order after that due to the ridiculously small portions. The meal left us hungrier than when we arrived, it was very scarce, almost like we were at war and they were rationing food. The place itself was nice and cozy, just a but small but no complaints there.
From my experience it wasn't worth the trip nor is it worth revisiting, we felt we overpaid for such a meager and average meal. But i do think there is still hope for improvement, if they can lower the price and keep the same portion, or vice versa, it wouldn't be so bad. I also think changing the menu would benefit them greatly, removing the fries and reworking the salad, also expanding it to add actual Korean dishes, and refining the ones they...
Read moreTrying out Korean cuisine for the first time and it was an amazing experience, I didn’t expect to like it this much.
We ordered the spicey beef rice cake, kimchi hot noodles, korean salad, cucumber salad, Seoul KFC, Soy Garlic KFC, and cilantro cheesecake.
Everything was so fresh and amazing, a little bit spicy depending on your taste buds, but absolutely amazing. My favorite dish was the spicy beef rice cake which and it was my first time trying something like this. I absolutely loved it.
I think their prices are the current market average and it was so nice to see the owner working hands on on everything, the staff was very polite and caring and I loved their tone of voice when communicating with the customers.
It’s a small, cozy space that I’m hoping would grow because it deserves the spotlight it’s been getting.
They have 🍉 friendly drink options, however not all of them are and I hope that they do stop serving Coca Cola/ Pepsi...

Delicious ramen 👌🏼 Crispy noodles salad 🥗😩❤️🙏 The cucumber salad, as much as it’s a simple one, it’s so good. One dish can be enough for 2 cucumbers 🥒 I tried the kimchi noodles. I liked it also, but the ramen was more satisfying for me. Yuzu...
