Naranj — Restaurant in Salmiya

Where do I begin, the only good 10 seconds of our experience was the greeting. After that we got thrown on a table that HAS NO AC in a country where the temperature does not go under 40 degrees. There is a short white lady who wears a suit, this female is the reason the restaurant is empty she has no respect whatsoever for anyone! She purposely put us somewhere bad since I appear to not be Lebanese or Syrian she also appears to respect based on race and nationality , got sat for 20 minutes and all they did was flip our drinking water glasses. All in all if you have half a brain you will make sure to NEVER ENTER this failure of an restaurant. As an expat in Kuwait for 10 years I can proudly say that this is the WORST restaurant in Kuwait. I hope that management gets a second look at the business and the people working there; especially the short white lady who thinks that we are here to eat from her plate or as of that she will pay for my food , personal piece of advice to this lady is go find a job that requires no people skills so that she can take her negative energy and...

I visited the restaurant today for lunch, they serve Lebanese food and here is my evaluation:

I evaluated Service and Food quality very poor because I don't know if it's the restauran policy or staff technique to deceive and cheat the customers as I ordered 2 Mix Grill platter from the menu (big meal) and they brought it to me in 3 small plates with cutting some one item from each mix. I asked staff my order isn't what or selected from the menu, he said it come in three plates but in the menu it show Mix Grill one plate, then you should bring us 6 small plates you only brought 3, he was very rowdy , I stop the conversation and ask him to charge me for one mix grill.

This place has been one of our go-to spots since it first opened, and the food is still great! Breakfast portions are generous, the taste is on point, and definitely good value for the price.

Lately, though, the service has gotten pretty slow, which was a bit disappointing.

One small suggestion for the management, which I hope they’ll take seriously: the ceiling in the smoking area has a huge sky mural, and it just doesn’t fit the vibe of the restaurant, it ruined it. It feels out of place. Hope they consider changing it up!
