Baznīcas Ezitis miglā — Restaurant in Riga

Aweful everything. Meal is disgusting same as a service. The place looks totally understaffed - same girl although being polite was struggling to be at the bad, counter and waitress the same time First we ordered few meals with the rice - after paying at the counter (which is super stupid concept and there’s no word when you are taking the place in outside and silly waiting for the service) and 10 mins of waiting the girl came saying the they out of rice (!!!!) and offered to return the money back or change dishes After walking back to the bar, changing the dishes to a super-simple ones (a salad and cold soup), we had to wait for AN HOUR for the first dishes. The cold soup was the worst I had in my life - seems like it was made out of the coloured water - was not possible to eat. The salad was a disaster with the chicken that probably died on his own in the backyard on the place with a very tired salad leafs and to finish on this, the pork we have ordered did not showed up after staying in the place for 1.5 (!!!) hours. We just left the place.

Summary - I’ve been to the same chain different place before, it wasn’t so bad at all. Something is defensively wrong with the management...

Long waiting time although the restaurant was not busy, the food had already cooled down by the time we got it. We ordered a burger and dirty fries with cheddar cheese sauce. The burger was great, but the dirty fries were a complete scam. Whenever I hear the words "dirty fries" I envision a huge plate of fries stuffed with sauces, meats and salad. But these "dirty fries" were a small portion of fries with a little bit of cheese sauce drizzled on top, absolutely nothing in this dish resembles dirty fries.

To the management:

Rename the dirty fries to "fries with cheese sauce", otherwise it is false marketing. Atmosphere is nice but the playlist is HORRIBLE. PLEASE UPDATE IT IMMEDIATELY. I'm not saying the songs and artists are bad, but they just don't fit the vibe. Choose...

We ordered five drinks, a burger, and a platter of fried apps. The bartender was very impatient and grumpy. The food took an hour to get to us. We didn't want to seem impatient so waited about 45 minutes, and then saw another group who ordered after us get their food. I inquired with the bartender who took our order, and she asked what we were waiting on. I said "everything", she went back to the kitchen, and I saw her and the cook start to make the few things we ordered. When she came back out she said it would be another ten minutes. No apology, no recognition of the mistake (whatever it was), nothing.

In itself this place was very mid-range, but layering on the poor experience service experience and very mediocre food I would not recommend this bar (or at least not...
