These guys make really delicious pizza! The owner is a very development oriented guy. Pleasant atmosphere, dignified attitude, nice and simple interior. Good and simple wine selection, like in a home restaurant. I would even say very appropriate! The pizza base itself is thin and crispy. We tasted three pizzas and each one was different, but all with their own character, delicious and different! My personal choice was the pizza with prosciutto, which did not disappoint and was my Top1. Very friendly attitude towards our four-legged friends (water was served immediately)! Since the restaurant was crowded, we sat at a table for 15 people, which means that larger company meals are possible. They even fit more than 20 people at one large table in a separate room! The celebration table itself is made of very beautiful "olive wood" and is very appropriate to the theme of pizza. The nuances of the interior add glamor to this place. The owner hopes to cooperate with the residents of the building and create a quiet terrace in the yard, which would be an additional benefit for visitors to the pizzeria. We were three people and had a very rich dinner with dessert and we spent only 123 euros (including 2 bottles of good white wine). We bet, whether, Limoncello would be served for free or not when leaving. It was not served, although it was available on the menu)) I rarely say that, but GO!...
Read moreThe Good: It's Nice to have a new place opening. The interior is cosy and the place has a proper pizza oven, so the potential is definitely there. Also the menu and the choice of toppings is attractive and inviting. Pizzas look good and appetising and the ingredients on top blend well together.
A space for improvement: Pizza dough/bread was boring. It might be a bit of personal preference and there are probably a multitude of pizza dough recipees, but this one felt like lacking any character and rather plain. It seemed to be excessively burnt and bittery and we scraped it off while the layer below the burn almost like raw and undercooked. This could be a matter of oven being a bit off in temperature.
My wife was much more critical with a short - "Nebūs!" afterwards (not coming back). The biggeat disappointment was her pasta carbonara which was definitely not on the par expected at a restaurant. The egg had gone in scrambled lumps with oil during cooking and was not the expected thick and creamy texture when the yolk is well mixed with pasta water. Pepper did not blend in well and was overpowering instead of aromatic. Something that can be tuned...
Read moreThis place’s “hospitality” should be studied in schools — as a cautionary tale. We walked in with our family, lured by the high rating (still a mystery, by the way), and were instantly told there were no seats. But hey — they kindly offered us a giant communal table, perfect if you enjoy awkward dinners with complete strangers. The waitress cheerfully informed us that if a group arrives, we might be seated with them. Charming, right? No menus appeared, so we set off on our own quest. Eventually, a nice young man helped us order. Unfortunately, the pizza tasted like someone once described flavor to it, and the salad wasn’t much better. Overall: a deeply underwhelming experience. Still wondering where all those...
