Cafe Younes — Restaurant in Achrafieh

Bad customer service. Awful behaviour by the staff there. So i decided to try cafe younes for the first to go and work and have a drink. All I wanted was a good internet connection, cooling system and a comfortable place. When I got there I ordered a drink. The place had 3 fans which is obvioudly not enough. I asked the staff for a " 2 brise kahraba" he looked around he said right there. I sat. The table was shaking. The internet connection was not working. The fan didn't reach my area which means nothing is cooling the air around my area. I ask the staff for help with the internet, he didn't know what to do. I get up and leave without for paying anything then he asked me if I payed I said no. He asked me to wait and called another staff. First he introduced himself then he told me to pay. He didn't ask if I was comfortable nor if is there a possible way to help me. I was more expecting this kind of words "We're very sorry if anything got you annoyed what can we do ?" instead i get a "Hi my name is ali and you have to pay" all they cared about was me paying for the drink. Then the staff that helped me with the wifi connection denyed that the internet didn't work. He lied. And the other one was insisting on me to pay I was telling him that I didn't had a good service and not a sip of the drink so why should I pay. Then he said out loud "You are obliged to pay! " I was like " no I am not I can get out of there right now" And here the supervisor came, my hero came to save me from those two awful staff members but what do i get ? I get a " Kes ekht el masare bas enta ya 3AYB L SHOUM 3LEK W TLA3 LA BARA". I swear this is the first time that I see a coffee shop telling the customer to get out because he had a bad service. It's me who should be yelling not them. Shame on you Cafe younes (Sodeco square branch). Worst place I've ever gone...

Cafe Younes has 2 branches in this area, the older and bigger one inside Sodeco Square building and the other newer branch nearby. I tried the new branch this time, and i can tell the experience was average. The seating high chairs are good for smokers but not comfortable for a long time sit, the decoration is modern and reflects the real coffee experience. The service is good but they eventually visit your table once, and never come back to change the ashtrays or try to up-sell. Having my clinic aboved the cafe younes in sodeco quare mall, i find it the closest snack place to take a quick meal, unfortunately it is never this way, they extremely disorganised, most of the time delivering a wrong order, time wise they are always late, rude waiters always grumpy with negative looks, never saw a smiling.
