Happy (and fortunate !!) to have discovered this restaurant ! Simple story ; a couple moving to beirut from North Lebanon and hand preparing every single entrée and meal on their ridiculous menu with fresh ingredients and AMAZING flavours ! Their son handles the customers while the parents are elbow deep in preparations. The awesome and crunchy twist is that they even serve some old traditional plates like fawareg (stuffed intestines), lsenet (beef tongue), kre3in (sheep trotters) and others ... in a delicious, appetising manner (which believe me is difficult in itself !!) They also have the coveted kebbe nayyeh (raw meat) served with 7 spices and a dash of olive oil ... It was one of THE best I'd ever tasted ! We also enjoyed a traditional northern arak made from the village of that same family... to add authenticity to a beautiful and savoury experience !! Unfortunately was so busy eating that i forgot to take pictures, but I will definitely be visiting this...
