Fakhry chicken Hazmieh — Restaurant in Mount Lebanon Governorate

I recently dined at Fakhry after trying it once about five years ago and not being impressed. This time, I was pleasantly surprised! While it may not be the best broasted chicken I’ve ever had, it was definitely tasty and exceeded my expectations. I also ordered a coleslaw (though I didn’t take a picture), and it was good as well.

Overall, the experience was fair. I had seen quite a few negative reviews, but my visit was decent. The decor is old-school, but it doesn’t really matter for a quick and casual meal. The waiters were respectful, though I noticed they tend to stay in the back when there are only one or two tables occupied.

As a regular customer of this restaurant, i placed an order on 1st of January. The chicken came half cooked with a darkish skin look. The broasted potatoes, came mushy in a very unpleasant way and also half cooked. Upon having the first bite, i called the restaurant. The manager in duty took notes of all details and apologized, and mentioned that the order will be sent again alongside any new order i"ll have from the restaurant. Proceeded to order today, claiming my previous to be substitued order, there was no note of the incident and they didn't take responsibility of the sh"t food quality they sent last time. We asked for broasted grilled chicken and we got on iftar broasted. When we called to ask why the order came wrong, the guy tried to be a smartas* and telling me that the order registered was only broasted and started defending his colleague whom we could barely hear her on the phone because she keeps breathing on the phone. Anyhow they ruined our iftar and gave us wrong order, not only that they asked us not to touch the delivered food although we will not eat it anyway and they never said they're sorry. They came back to get the old chicken before they delivered the new one, i followed them to the store to realize that they wanted to grill the same exact one! And yelled at them in the store before...
