Lezard Noir — Restaurant in Port of Beirut

We went on a Saturday night and it was full. The service was great, the staff was so attentive, nice, and very professional. I would recommend the King Crab Salad, it was absolutely delicious with crisp green leaves and superb dressing. The Sea Bass was perfection & fillet mignon was so tender with a delicious side of sweet potato slices, I only wish the fillet portion was larger - it was tiny! The dessert was so divine. They have this chocolate mousse cake with chocolate shavings that is a must try and we had this lemon infused panna cotta that was so lovely. All in all I would give this restaurant a 9/10 only because I wish the fillet portion was a bit larger, however it was one of Beirut’s best dining...

Lézard Noir is a chic and stylish restaurant with an elegant ambiance that sets the perfect tone for a great dining experience. The food is absolutely perfect beautifully presented and bursting with flavor.

However, the staff could use a bit more training in customer service. While they are professional, a warmer approach and a few smiles would go a long way in enhancing the experience. Their poker faced demeanor can feel a bit unwelcoming.

Expected a much higher quality of ingredients, the food presentation is nothing close to “culinary artistry” as mentioned in their instagram page.

The prices are highly exaggerated, you will be paying for the location and not the food.

Fried calamari were overcooked. Fennel sauce with scallops had 0 flavor profile. Lobster spaghetti was outrageous (photos speak for themselves).

If you want to have high-end items on your menu the LEAST you can do is work on their presentation😂
